LUXE WaterFX is a non resin/non toxic “wet look” heat resistant, acrylic polymer fluid product

What are the perks of LUXE WaterFX?

  • NO MIXING NEEDED – Just pour straight from the bottle
  • Ability to create a 3D layered effect on RESIN or ACRYLIC ART
  • The shape holds still for dimensional droplets that look wet when dry (think dew drops or water splashes in 3d!)
  • No special gear needed (such as ventilator mask)
  • Arrives in a ready to use, food safe (for reusing) 8oz squeeze bottle
  • Resists heats upto 215F making it a great solution for coasters! ?
  • Feels like a dolphin’s smooth, soft skin. On tile & coasters, it has a harder feel. (not recommended for furniture)
  • 1 8oz.Bottle approx covers an 18″ x 24″ canvas if you’re just flooding it as a top coat
  • Covers  18-20 tiles (4”)

LUXE WaterFX is ? heat resistant on tiles with a boiling hot coffee mug on it! A main chain coffee house allowed WYNN modern art. to use their commercial kitchen for testing!

☕️ We are thrilled with the results- no sticking, no rings, no stains and withstood 215F! (that’s way beyond anything someone could ever drink)

The WYNN modern art. team has been using LUXE WaterFX to protect tile coasters for ? heat resistance, 3D water droplets on painted flowers, beautifully wet looking seascapes, beach themed cutting boards, intensely glorious geodes and so much more!

LUXE WaterFX is offered in “All Lit Up” and “Clear”

( ? BOTH HEAT RESISTANT FOR COASTERS)

“Clear”: Great for drawing in shapes, designs, animals and wavy lines when you’re not seeking a shimmer- but only seeking the wet look (Arrives in a ready to use 8oz squeeze bottle)

“All Lit Up”:  It has the clear formula’s benefits and but with an electric effect as the light hits it from various angles!

?Is it heat resistant for hot coffee mugs?
I want to use it on my coasters.

YES! Its been tested and found to be heat resistant to boiling hot coffee mugs! How do we know? A main chain coffee house allowed WYNN modern art. to use their commercial kitchen for testing! We are thrilled with the results- no sticking, no rings, no stains.

How long does it take to dry?

Depending upon how thick your placement, plan on 24 hours. (Give it a week to cure)

How much surface does one 8oz bottle cover if I just want to use it as a top coat?

It depends how you’re using it. I use it artistically as well as pouring it on as a top coat. As a high gloss top coat, 1 bottle covers approx an 18′ x 24″ canvas

Does it matter if LUXE WaterFX is warmer or colder?

Yes! That’s part of it’s magic. For a thicker application (ie dew drops or water droplets you’ll want it a bit cooler) For a runnier consistency, you’ll want it a bit warmer (immerse the plastic bottle in warm water for just 30 seconds to a minute like you would a baby’s bottle– do not immerse the tip- its not waterproof).

 Is LUXE WaterFX archival?

Yes! Use it to protect your art for years to come.

How does it hold up against water?

It is water resistant so wiping it down with a damp rag is no problem.

OTHER MIND BLOWING FACTS:

When LUXE WaterFX dries, it feels like a dolphin’s smooth skin rather than rock hard like resin. It doesn’t look or feel like a mirror but more like soft, wet water

LUXE WaterFX also serves as an amazing adherent as well. Sticks those shells and gemstones and mirror right on there- on that note, if your kid is wiggling at church, a dab of this will do the trick ?

There’s so many ways to innovate with LUXE WaterFX! You can add all kinds of additions to it like floetrol, LUXE Metallic Powders, LUXE Crushed Mirror and scrapbooking confetti, to name a few!

Start on a tile or small canvas to begin playing with it. See how it moves and reacts to other products you’re using it with. I’m using it with acrylics, LUXE Powders, LUXE Gemstones and LUXE Crushed Mirror. It’s magical!

When you warm it just a bit it gets runnier, in a cooler room it’ll pour out thicker (thick is great for water droplets retaining their form, warm is great for pouring larger quantities of it!)

The LUXE WaterFX Glaze is sticky! So just using plastic beneath you won’t be a good enough surface. I have so many pieces of art with little shreds of plastic on it until I found this silicone mat. Silicone is the only thing I’ve found so far that this product doesn’t want to stick to lol https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SH2P63L/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A15TJS9U62HGQJ&psc=1
